As we have already mentioned, a building is usually insulated in two ways. This can be done with polystyrene foam. There is also the option of using mineral wool. You also need to take into account the surface area to be insulated. Styrofoam 10-12 cm thick currently costs around 20 PLN per square metre. On top of this, we need to add the cost of the adhesive mortar – around 800 – 1,000 PLN. The purchase of mineral wool will be more expensive. It costs around 30 PLN per square metre.
How much does a house elevation cost?
After the building has been insulated, it is necessary to plaster it. There are various types of plaster to choose from – from mineral, acrylic, silicate and silicone. Their price varies. They cost from 4 PLN per square metre for the cheapest ones. Even PLN 15 for the most expensive materials. Ultimately, the insulation and façade of a house will cost as much as the material chosen.
